1. Puppies will be ready to go home at 8 weeks old. Each puppy will be checked by our vet and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccination and deworming before they go home. There will be an additional boarding fee of $30 per day for puppies that are kept longer than 8 weeks, due to owners not being able to pick up their new puppy. If puppy is not picked up by the agreed date the puppy will be placed up for adoption by another family.
2. Those on the Litter List will be kept up to date on how the puppies are doing. Weekly photos and videos will be sent, so that you can watch the puppies grow and help you to decide which puppy should be a part of your family.
3. The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale when it goes home with its new owners.
4. The puppy will be up to date on vaccination and worming at the time of pickup of the puppy. It is very important that you continue the vaccinations as needed per your veterinarian. When your puppy leaves us, it will have had its first round of vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. Your puppy will be due for Boosters at 9 and 12 and a rabies vaccination at around 15 weeks old. Puppies are not fully vaccinated until this series has been completed. DO NOT take your new puppy to high traffic areas such as PetSmart, Dog Parks, or around other unvaccinated dogs until this series is complete. Puppies are still susceptible to illness until full vaccination has occurred. It is very important to expose your puppy to new experiences during this time, but we recommend carrying them or placing them in a backpack or pouch.
5. The buyer, at their own expense, should have their new puppy examined by a Licensed Vet of their choice within 72 hours of receiving their puppy.
6. Documentation of this Vet visit must be sent to the Breeder within 10 days viz email or text in order for this 2-year health guarantee to be honored.
7. If within 72 hours, a licensed Vet finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy may be returned for a full refund – provided that the puppy has not been injured or neglected by its new owners. The Veterinarian must provide a written statement to the Breeder deeming the puppy unhealthy for purchase.
8. This guarantee does not include minor illnesses and health issues common to dogs such as seasonal cold, allergies, umbilical hernias, parasites (internal or external) because these can be easily contracted once in their new home. However, the Breeder will disclose any known issues prior to the final sale.
9. If at any time you become no longer able to care for your puppy, we will take the puppy back and find it a suitable home. No refund will be given if this occurs. None of our puppies can EVER be given or placed in a shelter!!
10. The Breeder is not responsible for any medical bills incurred after the sale.
11. The Breeder assumes no responsibility for training difficulties or behavior issues with new puppies but is able to provide guidance and training references if ever needed.
12. All new owners will have access to a 25% discount on lifetime membership to the online puppy school with Baxter & Bella. Discount code is MILLIES.
13. The Breeder cannot guarantee the grown adult size of your puppy. We will provide the buyer the weight of the puppy’s parents. From this we can give an educated guess as to full grown weight, but there are many variables besides genetics.
14. All of our puppies are sold to pet homes only on a spay or neuter contract. Documentation of spay/neuter must be sent to Millie's Goldendoodles at milliesgoldendoodles@gmail.com by 18 months of age.
